Western Cape | Wilderness community unveils new art project

Residents of George and Wilderness in the Western Cape gathered at Leentjiesklip to unveil new art projects. The projects include murals and a sculpture of Leentjie, the woman the area is named after. The event was also a commemoration of 93-year-old Jo Hartman, who died after waves crashed into her in the Leentjiesklip parking lot during the September 2023 spring tide.
