Deputy Water and Sanitation minister David Mahlobo says the combination of drought, ageing infrastructure, population growth, and mismanagement has contributed to water supply challenges in Gauteng. Gauteng Provincial Government together with the Department of Water and Sanitation, Bulk Water supply Rand Water and municipal councillors held a Water Imbizo in Johannesburg's east Rand.
