Water pollution by municipalities

Water and Sanitation Deputy Minister Sello Seitlholo says municipalities are the biggest contributors to water pollution. He says it is unsustainable that about 144 municipalities are the culprits due to their poor infrastructure. Seitlholo met with farmers, various stakeholders and Kopanong municipal officials in Springfontein in the Free State, following complaints of water pollution affecting farming activities in the area.
