On Friday, Vice President Kamala Harris made her first visit to the Arizona-Mexico border as a presidential candidate. This was also Harris' second trip to the state since becoming the Democratic nominee. Harris made a stop in Douglas, Arizona for official briefings on operations and progress on disrupting the flow of fentanyl through the southern border. The border is a top issue ahead of the 2024 election, with both GOP candidate Donald Trump and his running mate JD Vance making multiple stops in the last few months, both in Arizona and California. Stephanie Murray is a national politics reporter for AZCentral. She was on scene as Harris visited the border, and joins LiveNOW from FOX.
