A cultural expert and anthropologist, Professor Pfarelo Matshidza, has told the High Court in Polokwane, Limpopo, that the fact that princess Masindi Mphephu was born before her father was inaugurated as king does not disqualify her to be the heir to the Vhavenda kingship throne. She was testifying during the Vhavenda kingship battle on Monday. Princess Masindi Mphephu is challenging her uncle, erstwhile Vhav enda king, Toni Mphephu-Ramabulana for the throne.
