Reporting from Washington DC, FRANCE 24’s Fraser Jackson says US officials “spent the weekend” discussing Israel’s military plans in Lebanon. A US government source said the Biden administration managed to get the Israelis “to scale back from a wider ground offensive to this more targeted raid”, says Jackson.
