Universal Access to Information | "Everyone has a right to information"

7 months ago 110

The right to seek and receive information is a fundamental right for everyone under the international human rights law and standards. The right to information is necessary for making decisions, engaging in democratic governance and increasing openness which aids the public in having access to information about how they are governed and builds ground for fighting corruption. The Information Regulator in partnership with the Centre for Human Rights hosted the International Day for Universal Access to Information Symposium on Friday. To talk more about this , I'm joined via teams by Information Regulator Spokesperson Nomzamo Zondi. For more news, visit sabcnews.com and #SABCNews on all Social Media platforms.
