UNISA's image & reputation must remain respected: Dr Nobuhle Nkabane

Minister of Higher Education, Dr Nobuhle Nkabane, says her department will do everything it can to ensure that the image and reputation of UNISA remains respected globally. The minister adds that the department will act swiftly in addressing challenges at the institution, including stopping the unnecessary legal battle that is costing the institution. The university faces allegations of maladministration, and is being sued for R50-million by former deputy vice-chancellor, and current council member, Professor David Mosoma.
