Unions concerned about Transnet's rail split

Labour unions at Transnet have raised concerns about the company's plan to split the entity's freight rail into two divisions. The entity's rail logistics section will be separated into Transnet Infrastructure Manager (TRIM) and Transnet Freight Rail Operations Company (TFROC). Durban Port manager Moshe Motlohi is set to act as Transnet Infrastructure CEO while the recruitment process for a permanent appointment is underway.
