Tshwane Mayor | DA Mayor Cilliers Brink removed as Tshwane Mayor through a motion of no confidence

Councillors in the Tshwane Metro in Gauteng have voted in support of a motion of no confidence to remove DA Mayor Cilliers Brink. 120 councillors voted in favour of the motion and more than 80 against. The earlier motion was halted when the Democratic Alliance sought an urgent court order to prevent Brink's removal.
