Trump Assassination Attempt | 'This is indicative of the degeneration of American politics'

A suspect is in custody after an apparent assassination attempt on Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump while he was golfing on his course in West Palm Beach, Florida. Law enforcement officials say the gunman was in some bushes near the property line of the golf course when Secret Service agents, who were clearing holes ahead of Trump, spotted a rifle barrel in the bushes. The agents fired shots, and the suspect fled in a car. A witness managed to take a photo of the car and licence plate and the suspect was later arrested. He had left behind a rifle and scope and a GoPro camera, indicating that he intended to film or livestream his actions. Trump was injured in a previous assassination attempt in Pennsylvania in July.
