Traditional and Khoisan Leadership Act | Parliament urged to amend legislation

Parliament is pressed for time to amend the Traditional and Khoisan Leadership Act. The National Legislature has about eight months left to rectify the legislation. In May last year, the Constitutional Court declared the Bill unconstitutional and invalid due to insufficient public participation. As Mercedes Besent reports, the matter was successfully challenged by the late Land Rights Activist Constance Mogale and other land rights groups.
