October Prime Day 2024 (dubbed Amazon Prime Big Deal Days) is on October 8 and 9, but as usual, we’re already on the lookout for all of the sales worth shopping before the event officially begins.
We’ll give it to you straight: Amazon usually saves its biggest discounts for summer Prime Day and Black Friday/Cyber Monday, but we’re here to find the impressive deals you might not expect in October — and we did.
Case in point: We’re seeing low prices on quality home goods, like this electric leaf blower for less than $70, a Henckels knife set for nearly 60% off, $50 off popular Samsonite luggage (just in time for holiday travel), and even worthwhile deals on products you use every day, like skincare and shampoo. Amazon has slashed prices on its own products, too: Fire TVs and Fire Tablets are over 50% off well ahead of the Big Deal Days event.

Recognizing the popularity of its summer Prime Day sales, Amazon now has a second Prime Day every October called Big Deal Days. You have to have a Prime membership to cash in on the discounts, but if you’re not yet a member, you can get 30 days free when you sign up now.
When does the Prime Big Deal Days event start and end?
This year, the second savings event of the year is taking place on October 8 and 9. As usual, we’ve already found a lot of impressive discounts, and we’ll update this page leading up to and throughout the sale. Heads up: When the sale is over, some great deals may still be available, since Amazon tends to let them run for as long as the discounted items are in stock.
What are the best deals during Prime Big Deal Days?
Amazon’s Big Deal Days may not feature the mega discounts we saw during the summer Prime Day, but we’re definitely seeing solid sales right now.
