The Association for the Advancement of Wilgenhof Residents is adamant that the controversial men's residence at the University of Stellenbosch should remain open. The association which includes students and their parents says it will soon file an urgent interdict in the High Court in Cape Town, to stop the closure of the residence. The university decided to close it for a year to revamp it. The residence made headlines a few months ago after disturbing images and paraphernalia were found in locked rooms. Joining us now to speak more on the university's findings is Phiwokuhle Qabaka from the Stellenbosch University Student Representative Council.
