Solar Water Heater project still ongoing: Jacob Mbele

The cost of Government's Solar Water Heater project, stands at an estimated R1 billion. Officials from the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy briefed Parliament's Electricity and Energy Committee. The project, launched in 2009, was aimed at bringing relief to the country's energy constraints. The goal was to have a million solar water geysers installed by 2014.
