The embattled coalition is facing political instability, with a motion of no confidence against the City's Executive Mayor, Cilliers Brink set to take place later this month, September 2024. For the past few years, the City of Tshwane has faced governance and service delivery challenges, including lack of water provision for residents and forensic investigations into alleged tender irregularities.
