Parliament's 3rd term kicks off this week

The third and last term of Parliament for the year kicks off this week. Committees will be kept busy by the Auditor General of South Africa Tsakani Maluleke over the next two weeks as as the entity presents audit outcomes during this Parliamentary Budget Review and Recommendations Reports process. The Standing Committee on Public Accounts (Scopa) will also conduct oversight visits to Eskom and PRASA this week. Scopa is scheduled to meet with the power utility's Board and Management to get an update on the entity's performance. PRASA visit will focus on the outcomes of the 2022/23 AG audit reports.
