Thousands of people descended on the CBD of Cape Town for a massive Palestine Solidarity Campaign march. The campaign, that encompasses various organisations, is calling on government to sign into law the International Convention on the Suppression and Punishment of the Crime of Apartheid Bill. It will allow for sanctions, divestment and boycotts by law against Israel. This to mark nearly a year since Hamas launched an attack on Israel, that resulted in an alarming level of conflict in the Middle East.
