Over 100 people to get cataract surgery at the Beaufort West Hospital in Central Karoo

More than 100 residents from the Central Karoo will have their vision restored this week. A cataract surgery marathon is taking place at the Beaufort West Hospital. The initiative is a partnership between the Western Cape Department of Health, NGOs Africa20Twenty and the Al-Imdaad Foundation, and the Stellenbosch University Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.
