Officers in Mpumalanga arrested for driving licence fraud, bribery

Eight examiners, including a driving school owner, have been arrested in a joint operation by the Hawks and the Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC)in Mpumalanga. The suspects are allegedly involved in the issuing of fraudulent driving licences to the public. The suspects were arrested at different testing stations including Sabie, Graskop and Lydenburg. While in Verena, four traffic officers were arrested for bribery and corruption. SABC News reporter Nhlanhla Jele and video journalist Mzolisi Goqwana filed this report.
