North West | Rustenburg Rapid Transport System remains incomplete

Thirteen years after its official launch in 2011, the Rustenburg Rapid Transport System in the North West is not yet in full swing. The project has exceeded its three billion Rand budget, with only some segments completed. Many deadlines to complete the project have come and gone. But the Rustenburg Local Municipality says more has been done, and the final touches will be completed soon.
