The remains of the late struggle veteran Pravin Gordhan have arrived in Durban this evening - ahead of his funeral service on Thursday. The 75-year-old former Cabinet Minister passed away last Friday in hospital after a battle with cancer. Earlier today family, friends, former colleagues and comrades gathered at his Pretoria home for a private viewing of his body. Meanwhile, Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi has remembered the former Finance Minister as a fearless leader who never turned his back on the ANC. He was speaking at Gordhan's memorial service at the Johannesburg City Hall earlier this evening. Gordhan has been accorded a Special Official Funeral Category 2.
