Malusi Booi out on bail and confined to Western Cape

Former Cape Town Human Settlements MMC Malusi Booi is out on bail of R250,000. His nine co-accused have also been freed on bail with various conditions and amounts. The state argues that Booi had a corrupt relationship with alleged 28s gang leader Ralph Stanfield, and his wife Nicole Johnson. He faces charges of tender fraud and money laundering to the tune of a billion rand, said to have taken place between 2019 and 2023. eNCA reporter Ayesha Ismail tells us more. Courtesy #DStv403
