Former Vhavenda Acting King David Mphephu has disputed an affidavit made by Charles Mphephu that states that Prince Toni Mphephu-Ramabulana was appointed as a regent and not as a king. David Mphephu was testifying in the kingship battle in the High Court in Polokwane, Limpopo. Princess Masindi Mphephu is challenging her uncle, erstwhile Vhavenda king, Toni Mphephu-Ramabulana.
