Launched Extortion Hotline yielding positive outcomes in combating crime in E Cape

Eastern Police Commissioner Nomthetheleli Mene says the Extortion Hotline that was launched in August is yielding positive outcomes in combating the crime. Since its inception it has received over three thousand calls resulting in nearly 40 cases being opened. Mene has however, cautioned the public against making prank calls on the line.
