Lampard Inquiry: Bereaved families describe grief and pain of losing their loved ones

Bereaved parents have been describing the pain of losing their children, as well as sharing memories of them, at the Lampard Inquiry in Essex. It has been set up to investigate the deaths of 2,000 people who were receiving mental health inpatient care in the county between 2000 and 2023. The inquiry started on 9 September in Chelmsford and is likely to conclude in 2026.
