Last Saturday, an indiscriminate and brutal slaughter of 18 Lusikisiki community members plunged South Africa into collective shock. This Sunday, a mass memorial service was held for the victims of the massacre - a majority of them women and children. This is where the Minister of Police, Senzo Mchunu, announced that 3 suspects have been arrested and that the arrest of the fourth suspect is imminent. But many questions and very few answers for the motive remain.
