Israeli airstrike hits medical centre in Beirut | Middle East conflict

Israel struck 200 targets in Lebanon overnight, mainly in the suburbs. But an apartment block in the city centre was also attacked. One of the floors was thought to used by the Islamic Health Society, a group of paramedics linked to Hezbollah but offers its services to everyone’s. Now, there are gloves, stethoscopes and other equipment now scatter the floor under rubble. Medics apparently asleep when the missiles struck. A Hezbollah member of parliament says the strikes are an outrage and that they have “no alternative but to fight back”.
