Israel’s defense minister Yoav Gallant is set to travel to Washington to discuss “ongoing Middle East security developments” with US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Wednesday, according to the Pentagon. Israel is weighing how to respond to an Iranian ballistic missile attack and President Joe Biden has urged Israel not to attack Iran’s nuclear program or oil infrastructure.
