ICASA conducting a search and seizure operation at StarSAT, after they failed cease operations

SABC News understands that broadcast equipment is being removed from the StarSAT building. This is after the company failed to cease operations following a directive in September 2024. The company was told to stop broadcasting after it failed to renew its Individual Subscription Broadcasting License with ICASA, which expired in July 2023.
