Huge blasts hit southern Beirut in new Israeli air strike

Thick clouds of smoke are rising from the Lebanese capital Beirut after multiple explosions. Israel’s military says it carried out a “precise strike” on the central headquarters of Hezbollah in the capital’s south. Meanwhile, in a televised statement, Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari said the “central command centre” was embedded deep within civilian areas.
