The remains of the late struggle veteran Pravin Gordhan have arrived in Durban this evening - ahead of his funeral service on Thursday. Gordhan, aged 75, passed away last Friday in hospital after a battle with cancer. Earlier today, family, friends, former colleagues, and comrades gathered at his Pretoria home for a private viewing of his body. His funeral will take place on Thursday at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre in Durban. In recognition of Gordhan's contributions, President Cyril Ramaphosa has declared a Special Official Funeral, Category 2, to honour the struggle veteran and former Cabinet member.
