Future of Stellenbosch University's Wilgenhof men's residence hangs in balance

The Council of Stellenbosch University will tomorrow decide the future of Wilgenhof men's residence. A report commissioned by the University was accepted by the Rectorate. It recommended that Wilgenhof be shut down. The report recommends closure due to alleged racist practices and abusive initiation practices for first-year students that were conducted at the residence.
