Free State | Traditional healers call for the reversal of draft regulations to THP's Act

Traditional healers in the Free State have called on the Health Minister, Aaron Motsoaledi to reverse the draft regulations proposed in the Traditional Health Practitioner's Act. The regulations were published in the Government Gazette in June 2024. They marched to the provincial Health Department offices in Bloemfontein to hand over a memorandum demanding meaningful dialogue with traditional healers from all regions and backgrounds.
