The Central University of Technology in the Free State has launched a food bank to aid unfunded students and tackle food insecurity and indigency among students. A recent donation of 182 thousand rand from the institution's vice-chancellor and principal Prof. Pamela Dube, is seen by beneficiaries as crucial to address the wider socio-economic challenges faced by students. Dube used the payment she received for a speaking engagement abroad, to help fund the food bank. For more news, visit sabcnews.com and #SABCNews on all Social Media platforms.
