Flight delays and cancellations in the Eastern Cape crippling business operations

The business sector in East London and the Wild Coast in the Eastern Cape says the delay and cancellation of flights at the King Phalo airport in East London is threatening the business sector and inbound tourism in the province. Flights in and out of King Phalo airport had to be cancelled last week due to inclement weather that destructed infrastructure upgrades conducted by the Air Traffic Navigation System in line with the global safety protocols. The business sector in the Province says losses experienced during the flight delays and cancellations will not be recouped. Sidima Mfeku reports.
