Flight cancellations hit EC's economy hard

The business sector in East London and the wild coast in the Eastern Cape say the delay and cancelation of flights at the King Phalo airport is threatening the business sector and inbound tourism in the province. Flights to and from the King Phalo airport in East London had to be cancelled last week due to misty weather conditions that destructed the Air Traffic Navigation System as it was upgrading the air traffic system infrastructure in line with the global safety protocols.
