Energy and electricity minister Dr Kgosientsho Ramokgopa has called for a concerted approach on integrating the country's energy sources in line with the Just Energy Transition. He delivered a keynote address at the Standard Bank 4th Annual Climate Summit in Johannesburg. The Standard Bank Group has committed to mobilise R250 billion in sustainable finance by the end of 2026. Government has encouraged private sector renewable energy strategies that it says should be in line with the country's Just Energy Transition drive.
