Renowned African musician, songwriter and storyteller Dr Latozi “Madosini” Mphahleni passed away in December 2022. This musical icon introduced the world to traditional Uhadi and Umrgube instruments, preserving their legacy. Her contributions were honored by Rhodes University with an honorary doctorate. Her legacy continues through the Dr Latozi Madosini Mpahleni Foundation. Despite her fame, she remained grounded.
