DA reacts to Brink's ousting as Tshwane Mayor

African National Congress (ANC) Gauteng Secretary, TK Nciza, says the removal of Cilliers Brink as Tshwane mayor through a motion of no confidence is a victorious move for the people of the city. Councillors in the Tshwane Metro have voted in support of a motion of no confidence to remove Brink, bringing his 18-month tenure to an end. There are 120 councilors who voted in favour of the motion and 87 against, with one abstention. His ousting follows the collapse of the DA's coalition with ActionSA in the metro.
