The Commission for Gender Equality has expressed concern over the handling of sexual offense cases in Mpumalanga. The commission conducted a provincial hearing in Mbombela with the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) and the South African Police Service (SAPS) in connection with the investigation and withdrawal of these cases in courts.
