Christoffel Stoman's bail bid denied

Bail has been denied at the Vredendal Magistrate's Court, in the case of a farmer who allegedly ran over a six-year-old boy with his vehicle in Lutzville. The 70-year-old Christoffel Stoman allegedly drove straight towards the boy and his mother when they were walking in the area. He was arrested on the 20th of last month after allegedly leaving the boy with fractures to both his legs. The boy was transported to hospital for emergency medical treatment.
