Bloemfontein CBD | New technology used to help regulate hawkers

The introduction of a modern technology in the form of biometric devices will come in handy to regulate the dramatic increase in the number of hawkers in the CBD of Bloemfontein. This is according to the Mangaung Metro Municipality Executive Mayor Gregory Nthatisi. This will also be supplemented by the introduction of the Metro's Police Department, which will assist with the enforcement of by-laws. Nthatisi says they are determined to make the metro work.
