Amazon Is Slashing Up to 31% Off Mattress Prices for October Prime Day

OUR EDITORS have long looked to Amazon as a place to shop for a new mattress, and the retailer's major sales throughout the year—like October Prime Day, named Prime Big Deal Days—makes shopping there that much sweeter.

The pre-holiday season savings event is on October 8 (ending on October 9), with mattresses as low as $236 (with over 1,000 five-star reviews) and price cuts as high as 31 percent off top brands like Nectar, Casper, and Purple.
