2027 AFCON I President William Ruto assures Patrice Motsepe of Kenya's readiness to host CAF

Kenyan President, William Ruto, has assured Confederation of African Football President, Patrice Motsepe, that his country will ensure that the required infrastructure is built for the 2027 African Cup of Nations. The continental soccer showpiece will be jointly hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, with Morocco staging the 2025 edition. Kenya and Tanzania have only one international-standard venue each, and Uganda has none, forcing its national team to play the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers at neutral venues.
